From I-80 and
I-79
Traveling on I-79, go to the intersection of I-80 and I-79
(Exit 19) and take the east bound lanes of I-80. Travel to Exit 29
(the Barkeyville exit), Exit I-80 and take PA Route #8 northward
into the city of Franklin, PA. This is approximately a 15 minute
drive and is mostly new limited access highway.
If you are
traveling eastward on I-80, exit at the Barkeyville exit and travel
northward on PA Route #8 into the city of Franklin, PA.
As you travel down
a long downhill grade into Franklin, come all the way down the hill
and enter the city of Franklin, PA. There is a 90 degree right turn
with a blinker light at this turn. You are then on Liberty Street
which is the main street where you will turn left onto 13th street
at the second traffic light. You then travel northward through five
traffic lights, passing by a McDonald's restaurant, the Franklin
Fire Department, and over a bridge over French Creek. Stay in the
right lane and turn right on PA Rt.417 traveling out of Franklin at
the fifth traffic light. Travel through Rocky Grove and continue on
to Tri City Speedway, which is 7.5 miles from Franklin, PA on PA Rt.
417.
A large sign is at
the entrance to the Speedway and is on the right hand or east side
of the PA Rt. 417. You cannot miss it!
From the
Meadville, PA Area
Follow Route #322 from Meadville to the intersection of PA
Rt. #417 in Franklin. Follow Rt. 417 northward for 7.3 miles to
Tri-City Speedway which is clearly marked by a large sign on the
right or east berm of the roadway.
From Erie, PA
and the Conneaut, Ohio Area
1. From East Erie Area, take PA Route #8 South to PA Route
#417 which is south of Titusville, PA 5. 5 miles south on 417 to
Speedway, large sign at entrance to the track.
2. From West Erie
and Conneaut, Ohio areas, take I-79 South to Meadville (Exit 147),
then take US 322 East to Franklin, then Route #417 for 7.3 miles to
Speedway. Large sign at entrance of track.
From the
Corry, PA Area
Take Route #89 South to Titusville, then take Route #8 South
to PA Route #417 and travel 5 miles to the Speedway entrance.
From the
Warren, Youngstown, PA, and Jamestown & Busti, NY Area
Take Route #6 West to Pittsfield, PA then take Route #27
South to Pleasantville, PA. Turn right and continue on Route #27
into Titusville, PA then take PA Route #8 south to the intersection
of PA Route #417, 5 miles south on PA Route #417 is the entrance to
the Speedway.
From Kane, PA
Area
Take PA Route #66 southward to Leeper, PA. Turn right and
then take Route #36 northward through Pleasantville and into
Titusville, PA. Take Route #8 south to the village of Cherrytree
where you take Route #417 southward for 5 miles to the Speedway
entrance. A large sign is at the entrance to the speedway.
From DuBois
and the Clearfield, PA Areas
Take I-80 West to Exit 53, then take Route 338 North to US
322 west into Franklin, or to Exit 70 and take 322
north to Franklin. Take Route #417 northward for 7.3 miles from
Franklin to the Speedway entrance. Large sign at the entrance.
From the
Pittsburgh Area
Traveling north on I-79, go to the intersection of I-80 and
I-79 (Exit 19) and take the eastbound lanes of I-80. Travel to Exit
