JOEL HETRICK PUNISHES THE COMPETITION AT UNADILLA

7/21/2010

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Hetrick Racing’s Joel Hetrick made it a point that he wanted to be the fastest on the track at Unadilla Mx and he did just that. The young Seneca, Pa based rider set the fastest lap time of the weekend at this past National event, putting down a 150.017 lap in Pro-Am Production. These Pro-Am riders are making a statement they can run with the big dogs and with a full gate to boot.

The fast lap doesn’t mean much if you don’t put the 30 points or 1st place next to it but this young man did just that, Hetrick pulled 3 of the 4 Pro-Am hole shots and won all four motos.

The points chase in the Pro-Am Production Hetrick is within 15 total but closer with the throw out removed and the Pro –Am Unlimited Hetrick has a 33 point lead with a much larger lead after throw outs, with 2 events left this has become a very interesting Pro-Am season.

Although, the young Hetrick states “I have been in this situation before, all the pressure is on the leader not the guy in second, worst case I will still get second”. Interesting to say the least, with the confidence and ability of this young rider. The last two rounds I hope all of the fans will be on the fence cheering us on”, says Hetrick.

Team Hetrick Racing Kawasaki would like to thank all of the sponsors that have helps us throughout the 2010 season.

OBSTACLES ARE NO MATCH FOR KAWASAKI RIDER JOEL HETRICK

WALNUT ILLINOIS AND STEEL CITY RECAP

June 6, 2010

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Oil City, PA...Hetrick Racing’s own Joel Hetrick has made a bold statement at the last two rounds of the ATV Motocross National Series. The young rider has won 7 of the last 8 motos on his Hetrick prepped Kawasaki in the Pro-Am classes with a little excitement along the way.

At Walnut Ill. he won the first three as well as qualifying first in Pro-Am Production. As luck would have it, while starting the atv the kick start assembly cracked the side and center cases. Joel’s mechanic and father, with some help from others, changed the parts and got the quad to the line when the thirty-second card was up. Under AMA Pro racing rules, if you do not check in twenty minutes before the moto you lose your gate pick so his was last.

This didn’t change the outcome of the moto though. Hetrick came off the line around 8th and by the end of the fourth lap he had a nice lead and went on to win the moto.

At Steel City, Hetrick dominated the competition for the Pro-Am Unlimited and qualified first for the Production class. Although just after the start in moto one, Hetrick took a rock to his goggles which cracked the lens. Acting fast, he pulled off the track after lap one and changed goggles which put him in 17th place. Determination filled his heart and the young rider worked his way back to the fourth position by the end of the moto setting some blistering lap times in the race.

In Moto two, Hetrick pulled the hole shot and won with a demanding lead giving him second overall in the Pro-Am Production class. “Without the quality of the product we run and how well my atv handles, I would not be able to do as well as I do,” said Hetrick. “I cannot thank my sponsors enough.”

BALANCE MX 2K10 RACE REPORT

April 20, 2010

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Oil City, PA...dom·i·na·tion: control or power over another or others; an act or instance of dominating.

No one is sure if it was the track condition or if Joel Hetrick was trying to redeem himself from round one, but Joel Hetrick proved to be the number one contender in both Pro-Am divisions over the weekend at Balance Mx.

Hetrick once again proved himself and set the fastest lap time on the amateur track Saturday, and also came back and set the third fastest lap time on the Pro track and that includes the Pro division the following day. “Setting the third fastest lap time was a big deal to me. However, I’m always looking to improve my game so I hope to get fastest lap time in round three,” said Hetrick.

Lap times do not win the races, but Hetrick swept both motos in Pro Am Unlimited as well as both motos in Pro Am Production, setting the above fast lap times. Hetrick pulled the holeshot in moto one and finished with a ten second lead over second place. In Moto two, Hetrick came off the gate in third, passing for second by the third turn and took over the lead from Chase Snapp on lap three. In lap three, Hetrick took a demanding lead over Cottage, who was in second place and allowed Hetrick to take first.

The Kawasaki mounted Elka, JB Racing, Maximum RPM, Motoworks, Maxxis, and Rath rider Joel Hetrick, has proved that domination can happen from time to time.

The entire team for Hetrick Racing Maximum RPM had a great weekend as well. Domination also occurred in the B classes with Bret Cusumano winning both 450 and Production B, followed by rider Luke Nixion from Australia in 450 B.

In an awesome victory, Ryan Harness won the 70 mod class for the team and another win went to Logan Dusenberry in 90 auto jr.as well as a second in 90cvt. Dusenberry also finished third in the 70cvt. Popular rider, DJ Bassani finished first in 50cvt and placed second in 70cvt.

The remaining 2K10 team riders did very well with mostly top 10 finishes, team leaders Justin Hall and Rich Hetrick are very happy with the teams results.

A Note of Thanks from Keilan Horta:

To My Sponsors,

Well we kicked off the year with a GREAT start! I did miss out on the first race of the season because my quad just wasn’t quite ready but I was ready for my next race which was at Speed world (a really great track). On February 13th Saturday I raced in the PW Open class doing the MX track. In my first moto I won 2nd place. In my second moto I won 1st place. So I took home the first place trophy for that class. On Sunday I raced in the PW 80 cc Novice class on the desert track. I took home another 1st place trophy. My Fox Shoxs worked wonderful I am so happy to have them on my bike. So I had a good race weekend. My Apex ran like it never ran before. I was hanging on to a dirt bike that ran with us. I had so much fun this weekend. My mom and dad also let me celebrate Super cross style. I got to open a bottle of champagne and spray everyone with it. So once again I would like to give a BIG THANK YOU to all my sponsors because I wouldn’t be able to do this without you. Thank you to RFJ for presenting trophies. My next race is in Holbrook, Arizona on March 12th-14th and the next race after that will be at Firebird on April 23rd-25th then back to Speed world and you are always invited to come join in on the fun.
